Our marine straws are certified as home compostable and industrial compostable. Please contact us for further information.
Our marine product line is made using Nodax PHA. Polyhydroxyalkanoates derive from canola and soy seeds, feedstock that would otherwise go unused.
The process in which our marine product line breaks down mirrors wood or cellulose, naturally occurring in the environment. When discarded, be it a compost bin or a regular trash can, microorganisms will consume the product entirely as a carbon food source.
