“TÜV Austria home compostable" refers to products that have been certified by TÜV Austria as biodegradable and compostable in a typical home composting environment. This means the product will break down into natural substances like water, carbon dioxide, and biomass when composted in a home compost bin or heap, without leaving harmful residues.
